Hyundai Motor India has launched the new 2025 Hyundai Aura S AMT variant of its popular subcompact sedan, making it more accessible for budget-conscious buyers.
The starting price for this automatic model is Rs 8.08 lakh (ex-showroom), which undercuts the previously available SX+ AMT variant by a significant Rs 87,000, redefining value in the entry-level automatic sedan segment.

New Pricing Structure of the 2025 Hyundai Aura S AMT
The 2025 Hyundai Aura S MT variant starts at Rs 7.38 lakh, while the new S AMT version is priced at Rs 8.08 lakh. The SX+ AMT is now available at a starting price of Rs 8.95 lakh (all prices ex-showroom).
This strategic pricing places the Aura S AMT below competitors such as the Maruti Dzire VXi AGS (Rs 8.34 lakh) and the Honda Amaze V CVT (Rs 9.34 lakh), making it one of the most affordable automatic sedans in India.
Key Features of the Aura S AMT
The 2025 Hyundai Aura S AMT is equipped with a 1.2L Kappa petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 82 bhp and peak torque of 114 Nm. This engine is paired with a 5-speed AMT transmission.
For passenger safety, the car comes with 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Control (ESC), Hill Start Assist, and a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS). Additionally, it features LED daytime running lights (DRLs), auto-folding outside rearview mirrors (ORVMs) with turn indicators, rear AC vents, and steering-mounted audio controls.
The Aura S AMT is outfitted with a 2-DIN audio system that includes USB and Bluetooth connectivity, along with 4 speakers. Hyundai has retained most features from the S MT variant while adding ESC and Hill Start Assist to enhance driving confidence.
The launch of the Aura S AMT aligns with Hyundai’s goal to democratize smart mobility. By offering automatic convenience at a lower price point, Hyundai is targeting young urban buyers who seek comfort without compromising on affordability.
