The South Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor Company is currently developing a new MPV called the 2025 Hyundai Staria. The company is expected to showcase the Staria MPV at the India Mobility Global Expo 2025, which will take place in Delhi from January 17.

This model has already been sold in select global markets, and Hyundai may soon introduce it to the Indian market.

2025 Hyundai Staria MPV: Design

The 2025 Hyundai Staria MPV showcases a design inspired by spaceships, featuring a striking front fascia with horizontal LED light bars, a large grille section, and expansive glass panels that create an open and airy feel.

At the rear, it is equipped with vertical LED tail lamps that include pixelated detailing, along with shift-by-wire technology and an all-wheel-drive (AWD) system in the top-spec variants.

This MPV will be available in both 9-seater and 11-seater configurations. Inside, it boasts a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a digital instrument console, automatic climate control, and heated and ventilated seats.

Additional features include foldable chairs, a sliding cargo floor on LCV trims, a luggage partition table, a multi-hanger on the tailgate, and a ‘Relaxation Mode’ with lounge seating for the second-row captain’s chairs.

2025 Hyundai Staria MPV: Powertrain

The 2025 Hyundai Staria will be powered by a 1.6-liter, 4-cylinder turbo petrol engine featuring a hybrid system, which is paired with an electric motor and a six-speed automatic transmission.

This combination delivers a combined power output of 242 horsepower and a torque of 367 Nm. A

dditionally, there will be an option for a 3.5-liter V6 petrol engine, as well as a third diesel engine variant.

While the company has not yet disclosed the pricing for the upcoming MPV, it is expected that the starting price in India may be around Rs 60-65 lakh.
