Kawasaki has introduced the 2025 Kawasaki Z900 in India, priced at ₹9.52 lakh (ex-showroom). This latest iteration of the popular streetfighter motorcycle comes with several updates, including advanced electronics, minor cosmetic enhancements, and adherence to the Euro 5+ emission norms.

The 2025 Kawasaki Z900 continues to impress with its aggressive and muscular styling. The bike features sharp new LED headlamps, a bold fuel tank with edgy extensions, and a signature trellis frame that defines its streetfighter character.
The fully digital TFT instrument cluster supports Bluetooth connectivity and the Kawasaki Rideology app, enhancing the rider experience with smartphone integration. The Z900 is available in dual-tone paint schemes and updated graphics, adding to its premium appeal.
Measuring 2,070 mm in length, 825 mm in width, and 1,080 mm in height, the Z900 maintains a commanding road presence.
The seat height is 820 mm, which might be slightly challenging for shorter riders, and the kerb weight stands at 212 kg. With a 17-litre fuel tank, it offers good range for highway touring and daily rides alike.
2025 Kawasaki Z900: Engine
Powering the Z900 is a potent 948cc inline-four, liquid-cooled engine that delivers 125 PS of power at 9,500 rpm and 98.6 Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm.
The engine is known for its smooth yet aggressive throttle response and linear power delivery, making it equally capable in city traffic and on open highways.
The top speed is claimed to be around 240 km/h, while real-world mileage ranges between 17-19 km/l, which is commendable for its performance segment.

The new Z900 boasts advanced electronics including a 3-level Kawasaki Traction Control (KTRC), dual power modes (Full and Low), ride-by-wire throttle, and cruise control for enhanced riding comfort and safety. An assist and slipper clutch further improves gear shifts, making it a more refined package overall.
The suspension setup is tuned for a balance between sporty handling and rider comfort. It features fully adjustable 41mm upside-down forks at the front and a horizontal back-link monoshock at the rear with preload and rebound adjustment. Braking is handled by dual 300mm petal discs upfront with 4-piston calipers and a single 250mm disc at the rear, supported by dual-channel ABS for added safety.
