Mahindra and Mahindra has rolled out substantial updates to its ever-popular 2025 Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo Facelift SUVs for 2025, combining the brand’s rugged DNA with much-needed modern touches. With refreshed designs, enhanced features, and sharper pricing, the 2025 Bolero duo aims to reinforce their appeal in both semi-urban and rural markets.

Company has launched 2025 Mahindra Bolero at starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh and its Neo Facelift has been launched at the starting price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom), these renewed models look to compete more aggressively than ever.

So, lets know what are the features available in this SUV.

Talking about the design the 2025 Mahindra Bolero retains its boxy, upright silhouette that has long defined its appeal, but Mahindra has given it fresher elements.

The front fascia now sports a 5-slat grille with chrome inserts, new fog lamps, and a revised bumper styling. It also receives new 16-inch dual-tone alloy wheels and a fresh “Stealth Black” colour option.

On the other hand, Mahindra Bolero Neo Facelift receives more noticeable tweaks: a horizontal-slat grille, chunkier silver accents on the bumper, and a dual-tone roof in some variants.

It also has a familiar boxy profile, side-mounted spare wheel, and tall stance remain intact to preserve its rugged character. This model will be now available in two new shade options Jeans Blue and Concrete Grey.

In the both SUVs, Mahindra has opted for subtle but meaningful visual updates that modernize the look while respecting the original design ethos.

Engine Option in 2025 Mahindra Bolero

Talking about the engine options Mahindra Bolero and Bolero Neo remain unchanged under the hood. 2025 Mahindra Bolero continues with a 1.5-litre mHawk75 diesel engine. This engine produces 75 PS of power and 210 Nm of torque. For the transmission this engine has been mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox with rear-wheel drive.

On the other hand Bolero Neo Facelift comes equipped with a stronger 1.5-litre mHawk100 diesel unit. This engine generates maximum power of 100 PS and 260 Nm torque. For transmission this engine has been mated with a 5-speed manual and RWD layout.

Mahindra has claimed improvements in ride quality, enhanced suspension tuning, and better handling stability for 2025, though no fundamental mechanical overhaul has been made.

Cabin & Interior Features Of latest Mahindra Bolero

The Mahindra Bolero Facelift receives a 17.8 cm (≈7-inch) touchscreen infotainment system, steering-mounted audio controls, a Driver Information System (DIS), and USB Type-C charging ports in higher trims. Upholstery options now include leatherette in the top B8 trim.

In the Bolero Neo, the interior gets a 9-inch touchscreen supporting Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a dual-tone theme, and a rear-view camera. Higher trims also gain a more premium material finish.

Other features include height-adjustable driver’s seat, all four power windows, basic AC, and a multi-info MID. The Neo retains side-facing jump seats in the third row for flexibility.

Overall, Mahindra has elevated the comfort and usability of both models without going overboard enough to bring them closer to expectations in today’s SUV market.

Mahindra has added safety and convenience enhancements. Across variants, standard features now include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, and some features like DIS, steering-mounted controls, and rear-view camera (for Neo).

However, there’s no mention of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) or electronic stability control in the reports so far. In terms of user-friendly design, USB-C ports, improved infotainment, and steering controls are the key convenience upgrades.

Price & Rivals in India

Mahindra Bolero Facelift has been launched at the starting price of Rs 7.99 lakh of the B4 model and goes upto Rs 9.69 lakh for the B8 model.On the other hand Bolero Neo facelift ranges starts from Rs 8.49 lakh N4 to Rs 9.99 lakh N11 (all-price ex-showroom).

As for rivals, Mahindra positions the Bolero and Neo in a somewhat unique space. While there are no perfect rivals with similar ladder-frame, RWD architecture, they are often cross-shopped against popular sub-compact SUVs like Maruti Brezza, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, and Kia Sonet.
