After a brief hiatus following the MY2025 update rollout in April, the CNG variant is back this time with enhanced safety features and a richer equipment list, making it one of the most compelling eco-friendly SUVs in its class.

The Grand Vitara remains the only SUV in its segment to offer a factory-fitted CNG option, giving it a unique edge over rivals like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Honda Elevate.
The 2025 Grand Vitara CNG continues to be powered by the 1.5-litre K-series Dual Jet, Dual VVT petrol engine, tuned to deliver 88 bhp and 121.5 Nm of torque in CNG mode.
It’s paired with a 5-speed manual transmission and boasts an impressive claimed mileage of 26.6 km/kg, making it one of the most fuel-efficient mid-size SUVs in India.

Safety First: 6 Airbags Now Standard of 2025 Maruti Grand Vitara CNG
In a major upgrade, six airbags are now standard across both CNG variants. Additional safety features include Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, ABS with EBD, Rear disc brakes, and ISOFIX child seat mounts
This makes the Grand Vitara CNG one of the safest CNG-powered SUVs currently on sale.

The Zeta variant now comes loaded with 9-inch SmartPlay Pro touchscreen with wireless Android Auto & Apple CarPlay, Ventilated front seats, Wireless phone charger, PM 2.5 air purifier, Clarion premium sound system, Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Rearview camera and auto-dimming IRVM.
