Great news! Mercedes-Benz has introduced a new version of its luxury SUV, the Mercedes-Benz GLS AMG Line, in India.
This premium model has been launched at a starting price of Rs 1.40 crore for the petrol variant and Rs 1.43 crore for the diesel version (ex-showroom). These prices are approximately ₹1–3 lakh higher than the regular GLS models, but they offer added style and features.
This new variant enhances the already popular GLS with sporty looks and premium features. The company has sold a total of 16,000 units of the GLS in India to date.

The 2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS AMG Line showcases a refreshed design, featuring sporty bumpers, large air vents, and body-colored side panels. It comes equipped with 21-inch AMG alloy wheels, black roof rails, and a dark chrome grille if you opt for the Night Package.
The rear of the vehicle is highlighted by a stylish diffuser-style bumper with chrome accents. The size of the SUV remains consistent with the regular GLS, providing a spacious cabin and a strong road presence. It’s ideal for those who seek both comfort and style in one package.
2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS AMG Line: Engine & Performance
The 2025 GLS AMG Line is available with two engine options. The first is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder petrol engine, which produces a maximum power of 375 bhp and peak torque of 500 Nm. The second option is a 3.0-litre six-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 362 bhp and a peak torque of 750 Nm.
Both engines are paired with a 9-speed automatic gearbox, enabling the SUV to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.1 seconds, with a top speed of 250 km/h.
2025 Mercedes-Benz GLS AMG Line: Safety & Features
In terms of safety, this SUV is equipped with multiple airbags, cruise control, lane assist, a 360-degree camera, and an emergency braking system, all designed to keep you safe on the road.
Inside, you will find a leather-wrapped steering wheel, metal-finished pedals, AMG-branded floor mats, and an optional black leather dashboard with the Night Package. The cabin beautifully blends sporty style with luxury.
