Tata Motors has unveiled the 22025 Tata Altroz Facelift, featuring updated styling, enhanced interiors, and new features. Set to launch on May 22, 2025, the Altroz continues to compete in the premium hatchback segment.
This is the first significant update to its premium hatchback since its debut in January 2020. The refreshed Altroz boasts a modernized exterior, a more premium interior, and an expanded feature list, all while retaining its existing powertrain options.Â
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Exterior Enhancements
The 2025 Altroz facelift introduces several notable design changes. It has been equipped with new full-LED split headlights with updated DRLs, a redesigned grille featuring layered rectangular elements, and a sportier front bumper with vertical fog lamp recesses. It  Flush-fitting illuminated door handles and new 16-inch 5-spoke alloy wheels.
New Altroz has been updated with horizontal T-shaped LED tail-lamps connected by an LED light bar, a dual-tone rear bumper, and ‘Altroz’ lettering on the tailgate.
The facelifted Altroz is available in five monotone color options: Dune Glow, Ember Glow, Pristine White, Pure Grey, and Royal Blue.Â

2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Interior and Features
Inside, the Altroz facelift draws inspiration from the Tata Nexon and Curvv models, featuring. It has a cleaner dashboard design with gloss black accents. The Hatchback has been equipped with Dual 10.25-inch displays for the infotainment system and digital instrument cluster. It also has 2-spoke steering wheel, touch-based AC controls, and ambient lighting.
Additional features include an electric sunroof, cruise control, rear AC vents, automatic headlights and wipers, a 360-degree camera, wireless phone charging, and connected car technology.Â
2025 Tata Altroz Facelift: Powertrain
The 2025 Altroz continues with its existing engine lineup: Firstly, It will be equipped with 1.2-litre Naturally Aspirated Petrol: 88 PS, 115 Nm, available with a 5-speed manual or 6-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Second it has 1.2-litre Turbo-Petrol (Altroz Racer): 120 PS, 170 Nm, paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.Â
Third it has 1.5-litre Diesel: 90 PS, 200 Nm, mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. Fourth it has 1.2-litre CNG: 73.5 PS, 103 Nm, coupled with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Â Notably, the Altroz remains the only diesel-powered hatchback currently available in the Indian market.Â

2025 Tata Altroz: Price and Availability
The facelifted Altroz will be offered in five variants: Smart, Pure, Creative, Accomplished S, and Accomplished+ S. Tata Motors is set to officially launch the 2025 Altroz facelift on May 22, 2025. While pricing details are yet to be announced, the updated model is expected to see a slight increase over the current range, which starts at ₹6.65 lakh (ex-showroom).
The 2025 Tata Altroz facelift will continue to compete in the premium hatchback segment, facing rivals such as the Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Toyota Glanza.
