Yamaha Motor India has officially launched the 2025 Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid, introducing a wave of innovation to its neo-retro streetfighter lineup. The starting price for this model is ₹1.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
This new variant features hybrid engine technology, a 4.2-inch TFT instrument cluster, and a range of smart features designed to enhance both performance and rider experience.

2025 Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid: Hybrid Power
The 2025 Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid is equipped with a 149cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that is now paired with Yamaha’s Smart Motor Generator (SMG) and Stop & Start System (SSS).
This engine delivers 12.4 PS of power and 13.3 Nm of torque, mated to a 5-speed gearbox. Riders can expect smoother performance and better mileage, making it ideal for city commutes.
This mild-hybrid setup offers silent starts, battery-assisted acceleration, improved fuel efficiency, and automatic engine cut-off when idle.

2025 Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid: Tech-Loaded TFT Cluster
One of the standout upgrades is the 4.2-inch full-color TFT display, which supports Bluetooth connectivity through the Y-Connect app.
It features turn-by-turn navigation powered by Google Maps, call and SMS alerts, phone battery status, and music control.
This technology brings the FZ-X Hybrid on par with premium offerings in the segment, catering to tech-savvy riders who value connectivity on the go.
2025 Yamaha FZ-X Hybrid: Design & Features
The FZ-X Hybrid retains its neo-retro styling, now available in a striking Matte Titan color.
Key features include LED headlamps and daytime running lights (DRLs), a Traction Control System (TCS), single-channel ABS, telescopic front forks, a 7-step adjustable Monocross rear suspension, and a slip-resistant two-level seat design.
Yamaha continues to offer the non-hybrid FZ-X variant at ₹1.29 lakh (ex-showroom), which is available in Dark Matte Blue and Metallic Black.
