Luxury car manufacturer BMW India has launched the updated 2025 BMW X5, starting at a price of Rs 1 crore (ex-showroom).

The company has refreshed the design and added new features, including the xOffroad package, which is now standard across all variants. Additionally, BMW has introduced the M Sport Pro package for select trims of the X5.

This SUV will be produced at BMW’s Chennai plant and will be available with both petrol and diesel mild-hybrid powertrains.

In terms of design, the 2025 BMW X5 features a chrome-finished butterfly grille, a sculpted bonnet, and a matrix adaptive LED lighting setup with daytime running lights (DRLs).

It also includes new L-shaped taillamps adorned with an illuminated X motif and comes standard with 21-inch alloy wheels. Additionally, the latest X5 boasts blacked-out B and C-pillars. The company has also updated the front and rear bumpers of this premium SUV.

Regarding dimensions, the vehicle measures 4,935 mm in length, 2,005 mm in width, and 1,765 mm in height. It has a wheelbase of 2,975 mm, which ensures a spacious interior, premium comfort, and a strong SUV stance.

The 2025 BMW X5 SUV is powered by a 3.0-liter inline-six petrol engine that delivers a maximum power of 381 hp. Additionally, there is an option for a 3.0-liter diesel engine that generates a maximum power of 286 hp.

The SUV comes equipped with an 8-speed automatic transmission, ensuring smooth gear shifts and responsive performance. It also boasts an impressive electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
