India’s largest automobile company, Maruti Suzuki, has launched its new midsize SUV, the Maruti Suzuki Victoris, in the Indian market.
This is the third SUV in the company’s lineup, following the Maruti Brezza and Grand Vitara. Although the company has not yet disclosed the price of this SUV, it has begun accepting bookings, which can be made with a token amount of Rs 11,000. Maruti will sell this SUV through its Arena dealerships.
According to media reports, the company is expected to announce the pricing soon, after which deliveries will begin.

Design of Maruti Suzuki Victoris
Talking about the design Maruti Suzuki Victoris stands out with its bold styling and modern details. Up front, it sports a wide chrome-accented grille, flanked by sleek LED projector headlamps neatly placed below slim pixel-inspired DRLs, giving the SUV a sharp and futuristic identity.
On the sides, squared wheel arches house stylish 17-inch or 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels, while black cladding, roof rails, and a floating roof effect created by darkened pillars add to its sporty appeal.
The rear is equally striking, thanks to connected LED taillamps that stretch across the boot and a chunky silver skid plate for a rugged touch. Buyers also get plenty of personalization with nearly ten monotone and dual-tone paint options, including vibrant Mystic Green, Sizzling Red, and Eternal Blue.

Engine Options in Maruti Suzuki Victoris
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris comes with multiple engine choices to suit different driving preferences. It is offered with a 1.5-liter K15C petrol engine, paired with mild-hybrid technology, producing around 103 PS of power and 137 Nm of torque.
Alongside, buyers also get a 1.5-liter strong-hybrid petrol unit, co-developed with Toyota, that delivers 116 PS combined output with excellent efficiency. Both engines are available with manual and automatic gearbox options.
In terms of mileage, the mild-hybrid variant returns around 18–20 kmpl, while the strong-hybrid impresses with 25–27 kmpl, making it one of the most fuel-efficient SUVs in its class. The top speed of the latest Victoris is around 170-180 kmph.
Cabin Features
The cabin of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris feels premium and modern right from the first glance. The dual-tone dashboard with soft-touch materials creates an airy and clean look.
For the driver, there’s a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster that displays all the key driving information in a crisp manner.
At the center, a 10.1-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system is placed, offering wireless Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, voice control, and OTA updates. Music lovers will enjoy the 8-speaker Infinity sound system with Dolby Atmos, delivering a cinema-like audio experience inside.
Comfort features include ventilated front seats, an 8-way powered driver seat, wireless charging, and a panoramic sunroof. Adding to the luxury, the cabin also gets 64-color ambient lighting.
On the safety front, the Victoris is well-equipped with 6 airbags, a 360-degree camera, electronic parking brake with auto-hold, and Level-2 ADAS, along with a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating, making it one of the safest SUVs in its class.
Price and Availability
The price and availability of the Maruti Suzuki Victoris will be announced at the time of its launch. We are expecting that company may launch this SUV at the starting price of Rs 10-12 lakh ex-showroom. It will compete with Hyundai Creta in the Indian market.
