Tata Motors Cars Get Cheaper by Up to Rs 1.55 Lakh After GST Cut – Full Details Inside

Discount of Tata Motors cars after New GST

Tata Motors has announced significant discounts on its cars following the introduction of a new Goods and Services Tax (GST) rate for sub-4-meter SUVs.

The new pricing will take effect on September 22, 2025, coinciding with the new GST rate implementation. The Government of India has reduced the GST on small cars and two-wheelers from 28% to 18%.

Previously, all cars classified as “small cars” and two-wheelers with engine capacities of up to 350cc were subject to the higher 28% GST, making them more expensive for budget-conscious consumers.

While small cars and motorcycles will see a decrease in prices, larger vehicles, including mid-size SUVs, premium sedans, and luxury cars, will fall under a new 40% GST slab. As a result, these larger vehicles may actually become more expensive.

Now, let’s look at the new prices for Tata Motors cars.
