Greaves Electric Mobility’s EV brand, Ampere, has officially launched its latest electric scooter, the all-new Ampere Magnus Grand, in India at an attractive starting price of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom).

With the growing demand for affordable and practical electric vehicles (EVs) in India, this new model aims to strike the perfect balance between style, efficiency, and comfort for urban commuters.

The Magnus Grand enters a highly competitive market, where factors such as range, charging time, and everyday usability play a crucial role in customer choices.

The Ampere Magnus Grand sports a sleek and practical design, with a wide front apron, LED DRLs, and a comfortable long seat for rider and pillion. It gets a digital display that shows all essential ride data, while its large under-seat storage enhances practicality for daily use.

For ride comfort, the Magnus Grand comes equipped with telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. Braking duties are handled by drum brakes on both ends, with a combined braking system (CBS) for added safety and control.

Powertrain of Ampere Magnus Grand

Regarding the powertrain, the scooter is equipped with a BLDC hub motor paired with a detachable lithium-ion battery pack. The Magnus Grand offers an impressive range of up to 120 km on a single charge, making it a dependable choice for city rides.

It can be fully charged in approximately 5 to 6 hours, and a quick charge option is available for faster top-ups. The scooter can reach a top speed of 50–55 km/h, meeting the everyday commuting needs of urban riders.

In India the all new Ampere Magnus Grand has been launched at the price of Rs 89,999 (ex-showroom). It will compete with Ola S1 Air, TVS iQube, and Hero Vida V1.
