Tata Sierra Interiors Fully Revealed: Triple-Screen Layout, Premium Cabin & Powerful Engine Options

Tata Motors will soon introduce its all new TATA Sierra

The upcoming Tata Sierra has just had its cabin laid bare — and the images are turning heads across India’s SUV fans. Spy shots reveal a bold, futuristic triple-screen layout that gives the Sierra a strong technological edge.

With its sharp exterior cues, rich materials, and promise of multiple powertrain options, this new Sierra looks poised to shake up the compact SUV segment.

Here’s what we know so far about its design, engine line-up, interior, safety features, pricing expectations and key rivals.

Tata Sierra: Design & Exterior

The new Sierra carries forward Tata’s latest design language muscular, boxy proportions with clean lines and a modern twist on the classic Sierra silhouette.

Though heavily camouflaged, the test mule suggests LED DRLs, split headlamps, a connected tail-light signature, and bold wheel arches. Its upright stance and strong presence hint at a rugged yet premium SUV feel.

Tata Sierra: Powertrain & Performance

Under the hood, the Sierra is expected to arrive with both petrol and diesel options. The petrol model may use Tata’s 1.5 L turbo engine, producing around 170 PS and 280 Nm torque. The diesel could leverage the 2.0 L Kryotec unit from Harrier/Safari, tuned to roughly 170 PS and 350 Nm.

Transmission choices will likely include both manual and automatic, with higher trims possibly offering all-wheel drive. An electric variant (Sierra EV) is also under development on Tata’s Gen 2 EV architecture.

Tata Sierra: Cabin and Safety Features

The standout highlight inside is the triple-screen dashboard — the first time Tata is offering three integrated displays (instrument cluster, central infotainment, and a co-passenger screen) in its lineup.

The design is seamless, encased in a single glass panel for a minimalist, premium look. Touch-based HVAC controls, a flat-bottom steering wheel (with illuminated Tata badge under camo), and a mix of soft touches and metallic inserts define the rest of the cabin’s look. The centre console and gear-lever area are neatly laid out, reinforcing the modern ambience.

While explicit spy shots haven’t revealed the full safety spec list, given the Sierra’s positioning, one can expect a strong safety package: multiple airbags, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control, traction control, possibly lane assist, blind-spot monitoring and a robust body shell. Tata has been progressively equipping its new SUVs with advanced safety aids, so it would be logical for the Sierra to continue that trend.

Tata Sierra: Price and Rivals

Tata is likely to officially unveil the Sierra in November 2025, possibly coinciding with the Diwali season. We are expecting that company may launch this SUV at the starting price of Rs 15 to 18 lakh ex-showroom.

In Indian Market this SUV will compete with Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and even newer hybrids or electrified options such as the Toyota Hyryder.
