Yamaha Motor Company is set to launch the all-new 2026 Yamaha NMax 155 in the Indian market.
Reports indicate that the company plans to equip this scooter with an updated CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission) gearbox that includes a downshift feature.
This enhanced CVT gearbox is expected to improve both torque and overall performance of the scooter.

The 2026 Yamaha NMax 155 will come with a bold and aerodynamic design that reflects Yamaha’s premium scooter DNA. It will also come equipped with a new full-colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity for real-time notifications and navigation.
It will come equipped with a sharper front apron, sleeker LED headlamps, and dynamic body lines that give it a sporty yet elegant stance. Company has built this scooter specially for city comfort. Adding to its strong road presence, the NMax 155 rides on stylish 14-inch alloy wheels that enhance stability and handling, making it one of the most stylish and feature-packed scooters in its class.
In terms of dimension the scooter measures around 1,935 mm in length and offers a balanced seating posture for both rider and pillion.
Powertrain of 2026 Yamaha NMax 155
The updated 2026 Yamaha NMax 155 will be equipped with the same engine as the current generation model. It features a refined 155cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder Blue Core engine with Variable Valve Actuation (VVA) technology.
This engine produces a maximum power of 15 PS and a torque of 13.9 Nm. In terms of performance, this scooter is expected to achieve a mileage of around 40-45 km/l and a top speed of approximately 115 km/h.

The 2026 Yamaha NMax 155 is equipped with premium features such as a keyless start, traction control, a USB charging port, and Yamaha’s Y-Connect app for smartphone pairing. It provides excellent ride comfort, thanks to telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers that effortlessly handle rough roads.
For braking, the scooter is fitted with front and rear disc brakes with dual-channel ABS, ensuring strong stopping power and enhanced safety, making it ideal for both city commuting and long rides.

The price and availability of the 2026 Yamaha NMax will be announced at the time of its launch. As per the reports company will launch this scooter at the starting price of Rs 1.60 lakh ex-showroom.
