Hero MotoCorp has officially unveiled the all-new Hero Hunk 440 SX, and reports indicate that the company plans to launch this new bike in the coming months.
This model is based on the Hero Mavrick 440 and serves as a scrambler version of that bike. The company has already filed a patent for the name of this bike.
It was showcased at EICMA 2025, and Hero intends to introduce it under the Hunk nameplate for the global market.

Features of the Hero Hunk 440 SX
The Hero Mavrick was launched in India a few years ago and is based on the Harley Davidson X440, which is one of the most affordable Harley models available in the country. However, the Mavrick remains one of the most underrated motorcycles for sale in India.
The main reason for this is that Hero is primarily known for producing affordable and practical bikes, while this model targets the premium segment. Now, the company plans to reintroduce this bike under the Hunk nameplate, as the Hunk was one of the most popular bikes in India.
The model showcased at EICMA 2025 features USD forks and a TFT screen. It boasts a muscular fuel tank with a tank pad, a circular LED lighting setup with DRLs, LED turn indicators, and circular side mirrors. The front fly screen is finished in white, while the rest of the body is painted in orange.
It also has telescopic front forks, a split seat setup, a new rear subframe with a retro pillion grab rail, and an eye-catching alloy wheel design. Additionally, it incorporates ride-by-wire technology.
The Hero Hunk 440 SX is equipped with disc brakes at both ends and features switchable dual-channel ABS. It will be powered by a 440cc oil-cooled engine that generates a maximum power of 27 bhp and a peak torque of 36 Nm, paired with a 6-speed gearbox.
Price and Availability of Hero Hunk 440 SX
The price and availability of the Hero Hunk 440 SX will be announced at the time of its launch. We are expecting that company may launch this bike at the starting price of Rs 3-3.5 lakh ex-showroom. If launched in India it will compete with Royal Enfield 440.
