Mahindra introduced its highly anticipated XUV 9e, while Tata Motors brought back an iconic nameplate with the launch of the Tata Sierra, aimed squarely at Indian buyers.

Tata Sierra EV
The Tata Sierra EV marks the return of an iconic nameplate in a modern, all-electric form, focusing on design, technology, and sustainability. Based on Tata Motors’ EV-first acti.ev platform, the SUV is expected to deliver a driving range of over 500 km along with fast-charging capability and smooth, instant electric performance.
The interior is likely to feature a futuristic triple-screen layout, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a panoramic sunroof, ventilated seats, and advanced connected-car technology.
Safety is expected to be a key highlight, with Level-2 ADAS, a 360-degree camera, and multiple airbags.
The Tata Sierra EV is anticipated to be priced between Rs 20 lakh and Rs 25 lakh (ex-showroom), positioning it competitively in India’s growing electric SUV space.
MG Cyberster
The MG Cyberster is a striking all-electric roadster that focuses on performance, design, and cutting-edge technology.
It features a dual-motor all-wheel-drive setup delivering strong power and instant acceleration, enabling a 0–100 km/h sprint in just over 3 seconds. A 77 kWh battery pack offers a claimed driving range of up to 580 km, along with fast-charging support.
Visually, it stands out with electric scissor doors, a soft-top roof, sharp aerodynamic styling, and large alloy wheels. Inside, the Cyberster offers a driver-centric triple-screen layout, wireless smartphone connectivity, premium audio, dual-zone climate control, and Level-2 ADAS. In India, prices start at around Rs 72.5 lakh and go up to Rs 75 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra Thar facelift
The Mahindra Thar facelift refreshes the iconic off-roader with subtle design updates and improved everyday usability, while staying true to its rugged DNA. It gets a revised front grille, updated bumpers, new paint options, and a more premium all-black interior theme.
Feature upgrades include a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, rear AC vents, a sliding front armrest, reverse camera, and added convenience controls. Despite the updates, the Thar continues to offer excellent off-road capability with strong approach and departure angles, hill-hold and descent control, and ESP.
Powertrain options remain unchanged, with 1.5-litre diesel, 2.2-litre diesel, and 2.0-litre petrol engines, paired with manual and automatic gearboxes.
Prices are expected to range between Rs 9.99 lakh and Rs 16.99 lakh (ex-showroom).
Mahindra XEV 9e
The Mahindra XEV 9e is a modern electric SUV that focuses on performance, technology, and premium appeal. Based on Mahindra’s advanced INGLO platform, it is offered with 59 kWh and 79 kWh battery packs, delivering a real-world driving range of over 500 km along with fast-charging support.
The cabin feels high-tech with a large triple-screen layout, Level-2 ADAS, panoramic sunroof, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and connected car features. It also offers a premium audio system, generous cabin space, a usable frunk, and a large boot. Safety highlights include multiple airbags and a 360-degree camera. Its price range from Rs 21.90 lakh to Rs 31.25 lakh (ex-showroom).
Maruti Suzuki Victoris
The Maruti Suzuki Victoris stands out as a well-equipped midsize SUV, offering a strong mix of technology, comfort, and safety.
It features Level-2 ADAS, including adaptive cruise control, lane assist, and autonomous emergency braking, enhancing overall driving confidence. Safety is further reinforced with six airbags, a 360-degree camera, and a 5-star Bharat NCAP rating.
Inside, the SUV offers a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a fully digital instrument cluster, panoramic sunroof, ventilated front seats, a powered tailgate, and a premium sound system.
