KTM India has introduced the all-new KTM RC 160 sportbike in the Indian market adding a fresh and exciting option to the entry-level sportbike segment. Company has launched this bike at the starting price of Rs 1.85 lakh ex-showroom.
It has been designed to deliver sharp performance and aggressive styling and comfort to attract young riders and daily commuters who want a sporty edge without breaking the bank.
KTM says the new bike combines race-inspired design with practical features suited for Indian roads and riding conditions.

KTM RC 160: Sporty Design and Key Features
The all new KTM RC 160 carries KTM’s signature angular and aggressive look, complete with a full fairing, twin LED headlamps, sharp body panels and a confident riding stance. It has been built on the trellis frame.
The bike also gets clip-on handlebars, split seats, and digital instrumentation that displays essential ride data, making it a standout in its class. It also has 17-inch alloy wheels with tubeless tires for better grip on different road conditions.

KTM RC 160: Engine and Performance
The KTM RC 160 gets a 164.2cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine that is tuned for high revs and strong performance. It generates 18.74hp at 9,500rpm and 15.5Nm of torque at 7,500rpm, while the redline goes up to 10,200rpm, making it exciting to ride.
Power is sent to the wheels through a six-speed gearbox, paired with an assist and slipper clutch, which helps ensure smoother gear shifts and better control during quick acceleration and sporty riding.
Talking about the suspension 37mm upside-down front forks and monoshock unit at the rear end. Also for braking it has 320mm front disk and a 230mm rear disk, both aided by dual-channel ABS as standard.
With its blend of aggressive design, practical features and lively performance, the KTM RC 160 adds fresh energy to the entry-level sportbike category and gives riders an exciting new choice this year.
KTM has priced the RC 160 competitively to attract performance-minded buyers in the sub-200 cc segment. It will go up against rivals like the Honda CBR150R, Yamaha YZF-R15, Suzuki Gixxer SF, and TVS Apache RR 310 in India’s sporty motorcycle market.
