Renault India has started 2026 on a positive note by recording a 33.6 percent year-on-year increase in sales for January. The carmaker sold 3,715 vehicles during the month, compared to 2,780 units sold in January 2025, showing a steady recovery in demand.
Renault India’s strong January performance suggests a positive start to the year. With rising demand for its current models and growing anticipation around new launches like the Duster, the brand is expected to continue building momentum in the Indian passenger vehicle market through 2026.

Kiger and Triber Lead Sales Performance
The growth was largely driven by strong demand for the Renault Kiger and Renault Triber. Sales of these two models together rose by over 45 percent compared to the same period last year.
Their competitive pricing, refreshed updates, and practical features continue to attract budget-conscious buyers in the compact SUV and MPV segments.
Growing Customer Interest Across Dealerships
Renault India said customer enquiries have increased across dealerships, indicating rising interest in the brand. Company officials stated that the positive sales numbers reflect improving confidence among buyers and better footfall at retail outlets.
