Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster Launched in India at ₹29.98 Lakh: Everything You Need to Know

Ducati has expanded its premium motorcycle lineup in India with the launch of the new Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster at an ex-showroom price of Rs 29.98 lakh.

The latest version of Ducati’s powerful cruiser motorcycle arrives with an exclusive black and yellow colour theme while retaining the same performance-focused mechanical package as the standard Diavel V4.

Designed for riders who want superbike-like performance combined with cruiser comfort, the Black Roadster edition brings a more distinctive visual appeal.

With its aggressive styling, powerful V4 engine, advanced electronics, and premium equipment, the new Diavel aims to attract luxury motorcycle enthusiasts across India.

Design, Lighting and Display

The Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster gets a special black paint finish with striking yellow highlights on the fuel tank, radiator covers, and rear section.

The premium motorcycle continues with the Diavel’s muscular design language, featuring a wide fuel tank, sharp body panels, exposed mechanical elements, and a massive rear tyre that gives it a powerful stance.

The bike comes equipped with full-LED lighting, including a distinctive rear light setup that enhances its futuristic appearance. A 5-inch colour TFT display offers important riding information along with Bluetooth connectivity, navigation support, and access to various motorcycle settings.

Engine and Mileage

Powering the Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster is the same 1,158cc V4 Granturismo engine that delivers impressive performance figures. The four-cylinder engine produces 168 bhp of maximum power at 10,750 rpm and generates 126 Nm of peak torque at 7,500 rpm.

It comes paired with a 6-speed gearbox along with Ducati Quick Shift technology for smoother and faster gear changes. The motorcycle can accelerate from 0 to 100 kmph in approximately 2.5 seconds and offers a top speed close to 274 kmph.

Due to its high-performance engine, the expected mileage remains limited and depends on riding style and conditions.

Suspension and Braking

The Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster is based on an aluminium monocoque chassis that provides a balance between sporty handling and everyday comfort. Suspension duties are handled by fully adjustable upside-down front forks and an adjustable rear monoshock setup.

The motorcycle rides on alloy wheels with a large 240-section rear tyre, enhancing stability and road presence. Braking performance comes from twin front discs with Brembo Stylema radial calipers and a rear disc setup.

The bike also features advanced safety systems including cornering ABS, traction control, multiple riding modes, and launch control to provide better control during high-performance riding.

Price and Rivals

The Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster is priced at ₹29.98 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. It competes with other premium motorcycles including the BMW R 18, Harley-Davidson Sportster S, and other luxury performance cruisers. The Diavel focuses on buyers looking for a combination of exclusive styling, powerful performance, and advanced technology.

Why This Launch Matters?

The Ducati Diavel V4 Black Roadster launch highlights the rising demand for premium motorcycles in India. Although the mechanical package remains unchanged, the exclusive design updates give enthusiasts a more unique option.

The new edition strengthens Ducati’s presence in the luxury motorcycle segment and targets riders seeking performance, exclusivity, and advanced features.
