Mahindra Vision T Patented in India Ahead of 2027 Debut

Mahindra has taken another step towards expanding its next-generation SUV portfolio by patenting the Mahindra Vision T in India. The latest patent filing suggests that the production version of the rugged off-road SUV is moving closer to reality.

The Vision T was first showcased during Mahindra’s NU_IQ platform presentation, and the newly surfaced patent images indicate that the company has retained almost all of the concept’s design elements for the final production model.

Production of the Vision T is expected to commence in 2027, alongside several other SUVs based on Mahindra’s modular NU_IQ architecture.

Patent Images Reveal Concept-Like Design

The patent drawings show that Mahindra has stayed faithful to the Vision T concept. The SUV features a distinctly boxy silhouette, upright proportions and a rugged stance that hints at serious off-road capability.

Although Mahindra has not revealed the technical specifications, the Vision T is expected to be developed with genuine off-road capabilities. Reports suggest the SUV could feature:
