Bajaj to Launch New Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150 in India: Big Updates Expected

Bajaj Auto appears to be preparing a major refresh for two of its most popular commuter motorcycles the Pulsar 125 and Pulsar 150. Recent developments suggest the updated models could make their India debut in the coming months, bringing noticeable improvements in design, features and overall appeal while retaining the trusted performance that has made the Pulsar brand a household name.

Although the company has not officially announced a launch date, expectations are high that the new motorcycles will receive cosmetic upgrades, modern technology and compliance with the latest regulations, making them even more competitive in the segment.

Expected features of New Bajaj Pulsar 125

The next-generation Bajaj Pulsar 125 has been spotted testing on Indian roads, hinting that the long-awaited update to the Classic Pulsar range is nearing production. Bajaj had earlier indicated that a major Pulsar refresh was expected around August 2026, and the latest spy shots appear to support that timeline. Although some initially speculated that the test mule was the Pulsar N125, several design elements suggest otherwise.

Unlike the N125, the prototype misses the signature bulky fork shrouds and instead features a smoother fuel tank and overall silhouette similar to the current Pulsar 125 Classic. The presence of both single-seat and split-seat versions further strengthens this theory, as the existing Pulsar 125 is offered in both configurations, while the N125 is sold only with a split seat. The test bike also carries familiar details like a belly pan, rear tyre hugger and enclosed chain cover.

Interestingly, it rides on new monoshock rear suspension, replacing the twin-shock setup found on the current model, indicating an all-new chassis underneath. While Bajaj has not confirmed engine specifications, the motorcycle is expected to feature a revised powertrain, making it one of the biggest updates to the Pulsar 125 in recent years.

Expected features of New Bajaj Pulsar 150

While Bajaj Auto has not officially revealed the specifications of the upcoming Pulsar 150, the next-generation model is expected to receive a comprehensive update over the outgoing version. Spy images indicate that the motorcycle could switch to an all-new chassis with a rear monoshock suspension, replacing the traditional twin-shock setup to improve ride quality and handling.

The refreshed Pulsar 150 is also likely to feature redesigned body panels, a sharper LED headlamp, updated LED tail lamp, new alloy wheels and sportier graphics. Inside the cockpit, Bajaj may introduce a fully digital instrument cluster with Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, call and SMS alerts, gear position indicator and USB charging.

The motorcycle is also expected to retain single-channel ABS while offering improved braking performance. Under the fuel tank, Bajaj could introduce a revised engine tuned for better refinement, fuel efficiency and compliance with the latest emission norms, making the new Pulsar 150 more competitive in the premium commuter motorcycle segment.
