Tata Sierra Legend Series Variants Explained
Tata Motors has expanded the Sierra lineup with the new Legend Series in India. The new range starts at Rs. 11.99 lakh and adds more premium features to the lower and mid-spec variants.
Tata offers the Legend Series in five trims: Smart+ L, Pure L, Pure L(O), Pure+ L and Adventure+ L. The company has added 18 variants across petrol and diesel powertrains. The existing Sierra range will continue alongside the new Legend Series under the Signature Series name.
Tata Sierra Smart+ L
The Smart+ L serves as the entry point to the Legend Series. It gets leatherette seats and interior trim, auto-folding ORVMs, steering-mounted controls and roof rails. Tata also offers 17-inch steel wheels with full covers and key safety features.
Tata Sierra Pure L
The Pure L adds more technology and convenience features. It gets a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker audio system and a rear camera. The variant also gets cruise control, TPMS, 17-inch alloy wheels and a rear wash-wipe system.
Tata Sierra Pure L(O)
The Pure L(O) sits above the Pure L. It adds a panoramic sunroof, automatic headlamps and rain-sensing wipers. This variant also gets petrol and diesel engine options with manual and automatic gearbox choices depending on the powertrain.
Tata Sierra Pure+ L
The Pure+ L brings several premium cabin features. It gets ventilated front seats, a six-way powered driver seat, thigh support extension, Boss Mode and dual-zone climate control. Tata also offers a full leatherette interior with this variant.
Tata Sierra Adventure+ L
The Adventure+ L sits at the top of the Legend Series range. It gets a 360-degree camera, front parking sensors, terrain modes and frequency-dependent dampers. Other highlights include dual 12.3-inch displays, reclining rear seats, ambient lighting, a cooled glovebox and wireless charging.
Tata Sierra Legend Series Price
The Tata Sierra Legend Series starts at Rs. 11.99 lakh for the Smart+ L petrol manual and goes up to Rs. 19.49 lakh for the Adventure+ L diesel automatic. The range also includes petrol DCT, diesel manual and turbo-petrol automatic options. Tata prices the new Legend Series around Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 70,000 higher than the corresponding variants.
The Tata Sierra Legend Series continues to compete with SUVs such as the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Suzuki Grand Vitara and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder.
