Tubeless Spoke Wheels In Royal Enfield Classic 350?
The Royal Enfield Classic 350 could soon receive a practical upgrade, as a test motorcycle has been spotted with new tubeless-compatible spoke wheels.
The retro roadster currently comes with alloy wheels or conventional spoke wheels that require inner tubes. The new setup aims to retain the traditional spoke-wheel appearance while making puncture repairs easier.
The motorcycle spotted in Medallion Bronze appears to feature a wheel design similar to the one offered on the Royal Enfield Meteor 350 Sundowner Orange edition.
Royal Enfield has not officially confirmed the launch date, pricing or availability of these wheels. The update could arrive as an optional accessory or on select variants.
Royal Enfield Classic 350: Design
The spotted Royal Enfield Classic 350 retains its familiar retro styling, including the rounded headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank and classic bodywork. The key change lies in its new spoke-wheel design. Unlike conventional spoke wheels, the new arrangement appears to attach the spokes to a raised flange on the rim, potentially allowing the use of tubeless tyres.
The design resembles the setup seen on the Meteor 350 Sundowner Orange edition. It differs from the cross-spoke wheels available on models such as the Himalayan 450 and Goan Classic 350. The motorcycle otherwise appears unchanged, although Royal Enfield has yet to confirm the final production specifications.
Engine and Performance
The updated Royal Enfield Classic 350 is expected to retain its existing 349cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine. The J-series powerplant produces 20.2hp at 6,100rpm and 27Nm of torque at 4,000rpm.
A five-speed manual gearbox sends power to the rear wheel. Royal Enfield is not expected to introduce mechanical changes alongside the new wheel setup.
The engine focuses on strong low-speed performance and relaxed cruising, making the Classic 350 suitable for everyday commuting and occasional highway rides. However, the company has not confirmed the final specifications of the updated motorcycle.

Features and Practical Benefits
The biggest advantage of the new tubeless spoke wheels will be easier puncture repairs. Riders can often repair small tread punctures in tubeless tyres using a plug without removing the wheel. Conventional tube-type tyres generally require the inner tube to be accessed for repairs.
This upgrade could make the Classic 350 more convenient for daily commuting and long-distance touring while preserving its retro appearance. The motorcycle is expected to retain existing equipment, including its semi-digital instrument console, USB Type-C charging on applicable variants and dual-channel ABS on higher trims.
Royal Enfield has not confirmed whether the new wheels will come as standard equipment or an optional accessory.
Royal Enfield Classic 350: Price and Rivals
The current Royal Enfield Classic 350 range costs around Rs. 1.89 lakh to Rs. 2.26 lakh, ex-showroom Chennai. The tubeless spoke wheels could attract an additional charge, although Royal Enfield has not announced pricing. Its rivals include the Honda CB350, Jawa 350 and Royal Enfield Bullet 350.
