Kia India Sales Hit Record High in October 2026 as Seltos Crosses 13,000 Units
Kia India recorded its highest-ever monthly sales of 33,462 units in October 2026, registering 13.22% year-on-year growth over 29,556 units sold in October 2025. The company also set a new monthly sales record for the second consecutive month after surpassing the previous record of 32,017 units from September 2026.
Kia’s October sales increased 4.51% month-on-month. The Seltos remained the company’s biggest volume contributor, with sales crossing 13,000 units. Kia also recorded its highest-ever monthly electric vehicle sales, while CNG variants of the Carens and Carens Clavis contributed close to 10% of total October sales.
Kia Sales October 2026: Year-on-Year Performance
Kia India sold 33,462 units in October 2026, compared with 29,556 units in October 2025. The company added 3,906 units to its monthly volume, resulting in 13.22% year-on-year growth. The October figure marked Kia’s highest-ever monthly sales since the company entered the Indian market. The Seltos and Sonet remained the key volume contributors.
Seltos sales crossed 13,000 units during the month and accounted for around 39% of Kia’s total sales. Kia said the latest-generation Seltos has maintained average monthly sales of more than 10,000 units since its launch in January 2026.
Kia Sales October 2026: Month-on-Month Performance
Kia’s October sales increased 4.51% compared with September 2026. The company sold 33,462 units in October, up from the previous record of 32,017 units in September. Kia added 1,445 units to its monthly volume. This marked the second consecutive month in which the automaker established a new sales record.
Festive-season demand, strong performance from established models and growing interest in newer products supported the increase. Kia also recorded its highest-ever monthly EV sales in October, with electric vehicle volumes rising 31% compared with September.
Kia Sales January-October 2026
Kia India recorded cumulative sales of 2,86,470 units between January and October 2026, compared with 2,36,138 units during the same period in 2025. This represents 21.31% year-on-year growth and an increase of 50,332 units.
Importantly, Kia has already surpassed its full-year 2025 sales of 2,80,286 units with two months still remaining in 2026. The January-October volume stands 6,184 units above the company’s entire 2025 sales figure.
