Honda Rebel 300 Reaches Dealerships in India, First Deliveries Expected Soon

Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India (HMSI) is preparing to begin customer deliveries of the new Honda Rebel 300 cruiser motorcycle in India. The first batch of motorcycles has reportedly started reaching dealerships, while some Honda BigWing dealers have begun contacting customers about delivery schedules.

The new Honda Rebel 300 made its India debut in August 2026 and comes with two variants, including Standard and E-Clutch. The motorcycle has attracted attention for its bobber-inspired design, liquid-cooled engine and clutchless gear-shifting technology.

However, delivery timelines may vary across cities depending on dealership stock and motorcycle allocations.

The first batch of Honda Rebel 300 motorcycles has reportedly reached select Honda BigWing dealerships in India. Several customers who booked the motorcycle have received calls from dealerships regarding their expected delivery dates. Some buyers have reportedly received November 6 and November 10 as tentative delivery dates.

However, not every customer will receive the motorcycle during the first week of November. Dealership updates suggest that some buyers may have to wait until the end of November or early December. Deliveries could also begin later in certain locations, with Pune reportedly expecting dispatches in January 2027. Honda has not announced a confirmed nationwide delivery schedule.

Honda Rebel 300: Design and Features

The Honda Rebel 300 features a low-slung bobber-inspired design with a muscular fuel tank, round LED projector headlamp and blacked-out body components.

It gets a minimalist body profile, exposed frame and compact rear section. The motorcycle also features a low 690mm seat height, which should make it accessible to a wide range of riders. Other highlights include a circular TFT instrument cluster, Honda RoadSync smartphone connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation and a USB Type-C charging port.

Honda offers the motorcycle in Silver and Black colour options. The E-Clutch variant shares the same overall design and equipment as the Standard version.

Honda Rebel 300: Engine and Performance

The Honda Rebel 300 draws power from a 286cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine. It produces 27.6hp at 8,000rpm and 24.5Nm of peak torque at 6,250rpm. The engine comes paired with a six-speed gearbox.

The motorcycle also gets Honda’s E-Clutch technology on the higher variant. This system allows riders to start, stop and change gears without manually operating the clutch lever.

However, the conventional clutch lever remains available for manual operation whenever required. The Standard variant weighs 173kg, while the E-Clutch version has a kerb weight of 176kg. Both variants get an 11.2-litre fuel tank.

Honda Rebel 300: Brakes and Suspension

The Honda Rebel 300 uses telescopic front forks and twin rear shock absorbers to handle suspension duties. The motorcycle gets a disc brake at both ends with a dual-channel ABS system for improved braking control.

It rides on alloy wheels with a 19-inch front and 17-inch rear setup. Honda has also equipped the motorcycle with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), which helps manage rear-wheel traction during acceleration.

The combination of a low seat height, conventional suspension setup and modern electronic safety features makes the Rebel 300 suitable for everyday riding as well as relaxed highway journeys.

Honda Rebel 300: Price and Rivals

Honda launched the Rebel 300 at Rs. 2.22 lakh for the Standard variant and Rs. 2.62 lakh for the E-Clutch version (ex-showroom, Bengaluru). Its key rivals include the Royal Enfield Goan Classic 350, Jawa 42 Bobber and Jawa Perak.
