Customer demand for the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios continues to climb across India. Delivery timelines for the popular hatchback expanded in February 2024.
Buyers previously waited 6 to 8 weeks for vehicle delivery. However, maximum delivery times now stretch up to 12 weeks depending on the selected variant and transmission option.
Base Era Trim Experiences Longest Delivery Delays
The entry-level Era variant commands the longest waiting period in the Grand i10 Nios lineup. Customers choosing the base trim face delays of 10 to 12 weeks before taking delivery.
Buyers opting for automated manual transmission (AMT) variants also face extended waiting times. Both the Magna AMT and top-spec Asta AMT trims currently carry a 8 to 10 week waiting period.
Modern Styling and Premium Interior Equipment
Hyundai updated the Grand i10 Nios with sharp exterior styling elements. The front fascia features a muscular bonnet, a large honeycomb-mesh grille, sweptback projector headlamps, and bumper-mounted LED DRLs. The side profile showcases indicator-mounted ORVMs, roof rails, chrome door handles, and 15-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels.
Inside, the cabin offers premium leatherette upholstery, ambient lighting, and automatic climate control. Drivers receive a multifunctional steering wheel paired with a semi-digital instrument cluster. An 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system anchors the dashboard.
Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Reliable Petrol and CNG Powertrain Options
A 1.2-litre Kappa inline-four engine powers the Grand i10 Nios lineup. In pure petrol mode, the motor generates 82 hp and 113.8 Nm of torque. The factory-fitted CNG variant produces 68 hp and 95.2 Nm of torque.
Buyers can pair the engine with either a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 5-speed AMT unit. Hyundai offers the hatchback across four main trims: Era, Magna, Sportz, and Asta. Prices start at Rs 5.92 lakh (ex-showroom).
