Audi Q5 Hybrid: Powertrain

Audi Q5 Hybrid features a 2.0-litre TFSI petrol engine paired with an electric motor, delivering a combined output of 300bhp. This setup enables the SUV to sprint from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.2 seconds, with a top speed electronically limited to 250 km/h.

The highlight, however, is the 25.9 kWh high-voltage battery, which offers a pure electric driving range of up to 100 km—a significant leap over its predecessor. Audi has also introduced a stacked battery layout, optimizing space and improving energy density by 45%

The Q5 Hybrid supports 11kW AC charging, allowing a full charge in approximately 2.5 hours. Drivers can toggle between EV mode for zero-emission city drives and Hybrid mode for longer journeys. A digital slider in the infotainment system lets users manually set the desired charge level, offering greater control over energy usage.
