The wait of Aprilia SR 175 is nearly over! The much-anticipated scooter has started arriving at dealerships across India, signaling an imminent July 2025 launch.
This scooter has been positioned as a more powerful and tech-savvy successor to the SR 160, the SR 175 brings a host of upgrades while retaining the sporty DNA Aprilia fans love.

Aprilia SR 175: TFT Display with Bluetooth
One of the biggest highlights is the new colour TFT display, borrowed from the RS and Tuono 457. Its Key features include Multiple layout options, Bluetooth connectivity via the Aprilia app, Call and notification alerts, and Music playback support.
This is a major leap from the dated LCD unit on the outgoing SR and SXR models, adding a premium touch to the riding experience.
It also has been equipped with 14-inch alloy wheels with 120-section tyres, Front disc brake with single-channel ABS, and Rear drum brake.
This setup ensures a balance of agility and safety, ideal for urban riders.
Visually, the SR 175 sticks to the sharp, aggressive styling of the SR 160 but introduces fresh colour schemes inspired by the RS 457. This scooter will be available in White/Red, and Purple/Red.

Aprilia SR 175: More Power Under the Hood
Latest Aprilia SR 175 has been equipped with a new 174.7cc, air-cooled, 3-valve, single-cylinder engine. This engine will deliver maximum power of 12.92 hp at 7,200 rpm and 14.14 Nm at 6,000 rpm.
This marks a noticeable bump over the SR 160, which delivers 11.27 hp power and 13.44 Nm peak torque, promising better performance for city sprints and weekend rides alike.
Aprilia SR 175: Pricing & Positioning
According to dealer sources, the Aprilia SR 175 is priced at Rs 1.31 lakh (ex-showroom) matching the base price of the outgoing SR 160. This is likely an introductory price, with official confirmation expected at launch.
