Two-wheeler company Kinetic has finally launched its all-new 2025 Kinetic DX electric scooter in the Indian market, available in two variants: DX and DX Plus. This electric scooter is based on the company’s iconic DX model, which holds strong nostalgia for Indian customers.
The DX was one of the most popular models in the 1980s and 1990s. The latest DX electric scooter has been launched at a starting price of Rs 1.11 lakh for the DX version and RS 1.17 lakh for the DX Plus variant (all prices, ex-showroom).
Also, the company has started accepting bookings for this electric scooter, and interested customers can reserve it through the brand’s official website.
So, let’s check out the features available on this new model.
2025 Kinetic DX electric: Design and Dimension
The new DX electric scooter carries forward the signature boxy design and is equipped with an all-LED lighting setup, chunky 12-inch alloy wheels, and metal body panels bearing the iconic Kinetic logo.
Additionally, the scooter features a single-piece long seat for comfortable rides, an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster, rectangular side mirrors, and a red “ready” button inspired by Honda’s switchgear layout.
It offers a ground clearance of 165 mm and a wheelbase of 1,314 mm. The scooter will be available in multiple dual-tone color options. Its headlight design is particularly unique and unlike anything seen on other models.

2025 Kinetic DX electric: Powertrain and features
Talking about the powertrain, the new Kinetic DX is offered with two battery options: a 2.6 kWh and a 4.8 kWh pack. The DX variant offers a range of 102 km per charge with a top speed of 80 km/h, while the DX Plus provides up to 116 km range and a 90 km/h top speed.
According to the company, if you ride the scooter at a consistent speed of 25 km/h, it can deliver a maximum range of 150 km on a single charge.
Charging can be done via a standard AC home charger. The scooter charges from 0–50% in just 2 hours, 0–80% in 3 hours, and reaches a full charge in approximately 4 hours.
2025 Kinetic DX electric: Tech features
The latest DX comes with three ride modes on both variants — Range, Turbo, and Power. It features a front disc brake and a regenerative braking system for added efficiency.
It also offers features like hill-hold control, cruise control, cruise lock, and built-in speakers with volume adjustment for music playback.
Other convenience features include keyless ignition, a dedicated helpline call button on the switchgear, 37-litres of under-seat storage, a USB charging port, and a flip hook for easy storage.
Both variants support Bluetooth connectivity, but the DX Plus comes with additional features such as anti-theft alert, geo-fencing, guide-me-home lights, and OTA updates.
The scooter even has the quirky ability to wish you a happy birthday in 16 different languages — a unique and fun touch.
In the Indian market, the Kinetic DX will compete with rivals like the TVS iQube, Bajaj Chetak, Vida V1, and Ather Rizta.
