In September 2025, Honda Cars India Limited registered a mixed performance: while sales rebounded strongly month-on-month, the year-on-year numbers reflected ongoing headwinds.
The automaker sold 5,303 units during the month, representing a 6.56 percent decline from September 2024. In September 2024 company has sold around 5,675 units in the Indian market.
If we compared to August 2025, Honda achieved a robust 37.74 percent growth, bouncing back from 3,850 units in that month. So, lets know about the company’s sales in detail.
Domestic Sales of Honda Cars India
Honda’s domestic wholesales in September 2025 stood at 13,203 units, which is down by 15.5 percent on year-on-year basis. In September 2024 Honda has sold around 15,625 units in September 2024.

Exports
During the same time the exports fell sharply, clocking in at 9,191 units, a 33.23 % drop YoY, compared to 13,766 units in the same month last year.
When combined, the total dispatches for the month reached 22,394 units, marking a 23.81 % decline year-over-year.
