Land Rover Brings Back Churchill’s Defender

Land Rover has paid tribute to its heritage with the launch of the Classic Defender V8 Churchill Edition, a special recreation inspired by the Series I gifted to Winston Churchill in 1954.

Handcrafted by JLR’s Works Bespoke division, only 10 units will be produced, blending classic design cues with modern-day luxury and performance.

So, lets know about this SUV in details.

Available in both 90 (hard-top/soft-top) and 110 body styles, the Churchill Edition wears a signature Bronze Green paint finish reminiscent of the original SUV.

Heavy-duty steel wheels, galvanised bumpers, and a metal-mesh grille highlight its rugged personality, while “UKE 80” decals further nod to Churchill’s original car.

Inside, the cabin is finished in premium Bottle Green Bridge of Weir leather, complemented by a bespoke blue-faced dashboard clock featuring a red stripe a tribute to Churchill’s favourite Pol Roger champagne.
