In a landmark achievement for Indian automobile safety, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Dzire has secured an impressive 5-star rating in both Adult and Child Occupant Protection in the Bharat NCAP (BNCAP) crash tests.
With this, the Dzire becomes the first mass-market sedan in India to be awarded a dual 5-star rating under the recently implemented Bharat NCAP safety regime.

Bharat NCAP Crash Test Results – Maruti Suzuki Dzire Safety Report Card
The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Dzire underwent rigorous testing under Bharat NCAP protocols. Here’s how it performed:
In Adult Occupant Protection (AOP) Dzire scored 29.46 out of 32 points, earning it the highest 5-star rating. This includes Frontal offset crash: 14.17 out of 16 and Side impact test: 15.29 out of 16
In Child Occupant Protection (COP) The Dzire also received a 5-star rating with 41.57 out of 49 points, the highest score ever recorded by a Maruti Suzuki car for child safety.
These scores place the Dzire among India’s safest cars currently on sale, standing shoulder to shoulder with models from Tata, Mahindra, and Hyundai known for their robust safety credentials.
