Maruti Suzuki has released its sales report of September 2025. As per the report company has sold total of 189,665 units last month. The numbers reflect strong momentum in exports and a resurgence of domestic demand fueled by recent GST reforms.

Maruti Suzuki Domestic Sale
Domestic sales (wholesale dispatches to Indian dealerships): 135,711 units
OEM / Supplier sales (to other vehicle manufacturers): 11,750 units
Exports: 42,204 units — marking an all-time monthly high in international shipments
The export achievement is particularly significant, as it underscores Maruti Suzuki’s growing global competitiveness and willingness to lean on external demand during periods of domestic headwinds.
Compared to September 2024, the company’s total dispatch volume has registered modest growth (from about 184,727 units previously).
While domestic sales have come under pressure—declining 6–8 % year-on-year due to base effects and logistic constraints.

GST Reform + Festive Season: A Demand Catalyst
One of the strongest drivers behind September’s performance was the newly implemented GST rationalization. The reforms have enhanced affordability and consumer confidence, especially in the small-car segment.
During the Navratri festival period, Maruti Suzuki delivered over 165,000 vehicles in just the first eight days the highest early‐festive delivery burst it has witnessed in many years (company-reported figure). This surge suggests that buyers were eager to capitalise on GST-driven price cuts and festive offers.
