Toyota Motor Company is planning to launch its all-new Toyota Land Cruiser FJ. This SUV will make its official debut at the upcoming Japan Mobility Show. Ahead of its debut, features of the upcoming Land Cruiser FJ have been leaked.
The company intends to launch this SUV next year in the Japanese market, and it will also be introduced in the Indian car market.

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ: Design
The upcoming Land Cruiser FJ features a boxy design and is equipped with an LED lighting setup, including daytime running lights (DRLs), a muscular bonnet, LED taillamps, blacked-out electric ORVMs, and sturdy off-road bumpers at both the front and rear.
This SUV is built on the IMV platform, which is the same as that used for the Toyota Hilux and Toyota Fortuner.
In terms of dimensions, the Land Cruiser FJ measures 4,575 mm in length, 1,855 mm in width, and 1,960 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,580 mm, which is slightly shorter than that of the Toyota Land Cruiser Prado.
According to Toyota, this SUV has a ground clearance of 215.3 mm and a turning radius of 5.5 meters.
Toyota Land Cruiser FJ: Powertrain
The upcoming Toyota Land Cruiser FJ will be equipped with a 2.7-liter four-cylinder petrol engine. This engine is capable of producing a maximum power output of 163 horsepower and a peak torque of 246 Nm.
For transmission, this engine will be paired with a 6-speed automatic gearbox, delivering power to all four wheels through a part-time 4WD system.
Toyota Land Cruiser FJ: Cabin
Inside, the new Toyota FJ features a cabin design reminiscent of the Prado, complete with round air conditioning vents and large grab handles on the A-pillars.
The dashboard is designed to be tough and practical, utilizing durable materials. It includes a 12.5-inch touchscreen, a digital instrument cluster, a sturdy gear lever, and manual control buttons.
Additionally, Toyota has equipped the FJ with its Safety Sense ADAS features, enhancing safety and providing better driver assistance.

Toyota Land Cruiser FJ: Price and Availability
The price and availability of the upcoming Toyota Land Cruiser FJ will be announced at the time of its launch during the Japan Mobility Show.
It is anticipated that this SUV may be launched at a starting price range of Rs 40-45 lakh, ex-showroom.
