TVS Motor Company has launched its all-new TVS Orbiter electric scooter in the Indian market, starting at a price of Rs 99,900 ex-showroom. The company will sell this electric scooter alongside the TVS iQube.
The latest Orbiter electric scooter features a lithium-ion battery pack, providing an electric range of 158 km on a single charge.
It also includes a multi-color TFT display, 34 liters of under-seat storage, and cruise control, which is a segment-first feature from TVS.
This electric scooter is available in six different color options: Neon Sunburst, Stratos Blue, Lunar Grey, Stellar Silver, Cosmic Titanium, and Martin Cooper.

Features of the TVS Orbiter
When it comes to design, the TVS Orbiter showcases a unique design language that sets it apart from the company’s current offering, the TVS iQube.
It is equipped with an LED lighting setup that includes daytime running lights (DRLs), a connected LED taillight, rectangular side mirrors, and a flat seat design for a comfortable riding position.
The latest Orbiter scooter features 14-inch alloy wheels at both the front and rear, along with a ground clearance of 165 mm, making it suitable for riding in both urban and rural areas.

The TVS Orbiter also features a windscreen, which helps shield the rider from windblast. Additionally, the rear of the scooter is equipped with grab rails for added convenience.
The TFT display on this two-wheeler supports Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, theft alerts, and over-the-air (OTA) updates. It also boasts unique features such as cruise control, reverse parking, and hill hold assist.
TVS Orbiter: 158 km range in full charge
The TVS Orbiter is equipped with a 3.1 kWh battery pack, which allows the scooter to achieve an electric range of 158 km. However, details regarding the overall charging time and fast charging options have not been disclosed yet.
In terms of braking, the scooter features drum brakes on both tires. Its suspension is managed by telescopic front forks and a spring coil system at the rear.
Bookings for the Orbiter scooter have already started online, and it will compete with models such as the Vida VX2, Bajaj Chetak, and the OLA S1 range.
