Great news for Mustang lovers! Ford Motors is planning to launch its 2024 Ford Mustang in January 2024 in the global market. If reports are to be believed, the company is also looking forward to introducing this car in the Indian market.
Some media reports suggest that the launch could take place on January 1, 2024. Ford unveiled this model back in September, showcasing both coupe and convertible versions.
The 2024 Ford Mustang will be the seventh generation of the iconic Mustang car. The company plans to update the car’s design and powertrain for this new model.
2024 Ford Mustang: looks
The 2024 Ford Mustang will be available in both coupe and convertible versions, featuring its iconic styling. It will come standard with 19-inch wheels, LED headlights, a long and muscular hood, a large blacked-out grille, a wide air dam, indicator-mounted ORVMs, flared wheel arches, and designer alloy wheels.
This muscle car retains its premium front and roofline. The company will introduce the 2024 Ford Mustang in two variants: GT and EcoBoost. The designs of both variants differ significantly.
The GT model features a larger grille, a uniquely shaped bumper, and a splitter at the front, along with a spoiler at the back. In contrast, the EcoBoost variant has a sportier appearance. Ford will offer the all-new 2024 Mustang in 11 different color options.
2024 Ford Mustang: Interior
The 2024 Ford Mustang features a premium dual-tone 4-seater cabin. It includes a 12.4-inch digital instrument cluster and a 13.2-inch infotainment screen for entertainment purposes. The instrument cluster supports Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, over-the-air updates, and Apple CarPlay connectivity.
This car is equipped with an independent rear suspension, upgraded with new springs for enhanced performance. For safety, it comes with multiple airbags, ABS, EBD, Hill Assist, and advanced driving assistance technology, among other features.
2024 Ford Mustang: Engine Options
Ford has decided to launch the 2024 Mustang with two powerful engine options. The options include a 5.0-liter V8 engine and a smaller 2.3-liter turbocharged engine. The car will feature a 10-speed torque converter automatic gearbox.
While there is no official information regarding the performance, we expect the 2024 Ford Mustang to achieve a top speed of around 250 km/h, with the capability to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in less than 4 seconds.
2024 Ford Mustang: Price and Availability
The price of the 2024 Ford Mustang will be announced at the time of its launch, and it is expected to be around Rs 70-80 lakhs in India. Additionally, the company is planning to introduce this model in India alongside the electric version of the Mustang Mach-E, which is set to launch in 2024.
