South Korean car maker Kia Motors is currently working on its all new 2024 Kia EV9 EV. In recent development the upcoming electric car has been spotted during testing in India.
As per the reports company is planning to launch this electric car later this year. Let us tell you that company has showcased this electric SUV first time at Auto Expo 2023. The upcoming KIA EV9 will be available in multiple powertrain combinations.
The price and availability of 2024 Kia EV9 will be known only at the time of its launch. It is estimated that EV9 can be launched in India between Rs 60 to 70 lakh ex-showroom.

2024 Kia EV9 EV: Looks
According to reports 2024 KIA EV9 will be launched in the country in 5 trims β Light RWD, Light Long Range RWD, Wind AWD, Land AWD and GT-Line AWD. Also, all these trims will be launched in 6-seater and 7-seater cabin options.
Let us tell you that the company has added 8-way adjustable ventilated seats, heated steering wheel and 30-inch infotainment system as standard features in all these trims.
Kia EV9 has got an attractive look. It has a muscular U-shaped bonnet with a solar panel below the windshield. It has features like all-LED lighting setup and projecting LED headlights with daytime running lights.
The lower part of the bumper of the SUV is finished in black shade, while the air dam has been given a carbon fiber finish.
2024 Kia EV9 EV: Powertrain
The upcoming SUV has the option of 76.1 kWh and 99.8 kWh battery packs. This setup is capable of giving a range of 354 km in Light RWD trim, 482 km in Light Long Range RWD, 434 km in Wind AWD, 402 km in Land AWD and 402 km in GT-Line AWD.
Kia EV9 will get a 350 kW charger. With its help, it can be charged from 10 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes. Three rows have been used in the cabin of the Kia EV9 electric car, which is in sporty look.
Apart from this, a premium look design has been given with new dashboard design, two-spoke, multi-function, square steering wheel.
It also has a touchscreen infotainment system and 2 large freestanding screens for the instrument console, panoramic sunroof, multiple airbags, dual-tone black and blue theme, touch controls for the AC vents, rotary dial for transmission, drive modes and front arm-rest.
