Company has launched the fourth generation of the Swift hatchback in the Indian market today. The new Swift includes many new designs, better safety and technical features, and a new engine, which will provide better fuel efficiency compared to the existing model.

Features of the 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift
Safety has been given priority in all variants of the new Swift, with each model featuring 6 standard airbags. Its safety equipment includes ABS, EBD, BA, 3-point seat belts, and seat belt reminders as well.
On the design front, its exterior features a clamshell-type hood, large grille, sportier bumper, LED projector headlights, and LED fog lamps. New alloy wheel designs and sheet metal profiling with new cuts give it a robust look.
The 2024 Maruti Swift features a new 1.2L Z12E 3-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine, which replaces the previous 1.2L K12 4-cylinder petrol engine. The company claims that the new Swift provides better low-end torque, better acceleration, and a better suspension system for improved driving comfort.
The new engine promises mileage of up to 25.72 kilometers per liter. It is available with options of a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT gearbox.
The 2024 Maruti Swift is equipped with several modern interior features, and its dashboard now houses a 9-inch freestanding infotainment screen. Additional features of the car include wireless charger, Arkamys-tuned sound system, Suzuki Connect telematics, and rear AC vents.
The starting ex-showroom price of its base model is 6.5 lakh rupees, and the top variant, ZXi+ AT, is priced at 9.65 lakh rupees. It will compete with popular models like the Tata Tiago and Hyundai Grand i10 Nios.
