Tata motors is planning to increase its electric portfolio in India. Earlier Company has showcased the concept model of 2024 Tata Harrier EV at Auto Expo. If reports are to be believe company will launch this electric car in March 2024.
Company has also started the testing of this EV in India. Tata has already launched vehicles like Tiago, Tigor and Nexon in electric variants. While Punch and Curve EV are still in the pipeline. Company is planning to launch this car in 2024.
Lets see what are the features available in this electric car.
2024 Tata Harrier EV: Looks and Design
Talking about design, the look of Tata Harrier EV will be similar to its ICE model. However, paranomic sunroof and closed grille have been included as new features.
These include a new chrome-surrounded closed grille, wide air dam, projector headlamps with new LED daytime running lights (DRLs) and new front bumper.
The Harrier EV will also be available with flared wheel arches and new 18-inch alloy wheels. In terms of dimensions we are expecting that the lenghth of this EV should be 4605mm long, 1922mm wide, 1718mm height and wheelbase of 2741mm.
The Tata Harrier will be equipped with overspeed warning which give 1 beep over 80kmph and continuous beeps over 120kmph.
2024 Tata Harrier EV: Powertrain
We are expecting that the powertrain of 2024 Tata Harrier EV will be much more powerful than the current Nexon EV. It will be equipped with 50-60kWh electric better . These can be connected with magnet electric motor. This setup will be capable of generating power of 200hp and torque of 270Nm.
The Harrier EV may give range of over 500 kilometer in full charge. This car will be equipped with fast charging technology.

2024 Tata Harrier EV: Cabin
If reports are to be believed, the new Tata Harrier EV will have a 5-seater cabin. ADAS technology (Advanced Driver Assistance System) will also be available in it.
Many safety features can also be included in it to prevent collisions and road accidents. This electric car will also have a 360 degree camera which will help in parking.
The car will also get an updated infotainment system, full digital instrument cluster, electronic parking brake and ambient lighting.
2024 Tata Harrier EV: Price
The price and availability of Tata Harrier EV will be known only at the time of its launch in 2024. However, it is being estimated that its price could be around Rs 25 lakh.
