Honda Motor Company is currently developing the 2025 Honda Jazz, which is known as the Honda Fit in some global markets, including China. Reports indicate that the company is planning to introduce the fourth-generation model of the Honda Fit in the Chinese market.
The upcoming Fit hatchback will be an updated version of the current generation, which was introduced in 2020. Recently, some rendered images of this vehicle have been leaked online.

Let’s start with the design of the 2025 Honda Jazz (Fit). This hatchback features a new front fascia, as evident in the leaked images. It sports a blacked-out front grille paired with a matching black bumper, a sloping roofline, and more powerful LED headlights equipped with daytime running lights (DRLs).
The Honda logo is positioned just below the muscular bonnet, and the B and C-pillars are also blacked out. The upcoming Honda Fit will showcase a refreshed design for the alloy wheels and will include electrically adjustable exterior mirrors in a dual-tone color option. Overall, this model is expected to present a more muscular and road-dominating appearance compared to its current generation. At the rear, the hatchback boasts a blacked-out rear window, a shark fin antenna, LED tail lamps, and the Honda logo prominently displayed.
In terms of dimensions, the 2025 Honda Jazz boasts a length of 4,196 mm, a width of 1,694 mm, and a height of 1,544 mm, giving it a substantial presence on the road.
2025 Honda Jazz: Powertrain
The upcoming Honda Fit SUV will feature a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, delivering a maximum power of 122 hp and a peak torque of 145 Nm. This engine will be paired with a CVT gearbox for efficient transmission.
In terms of performance, this hatchback is capable of achieving a top speed of 118 mph (190 km/h) and offers a mileage range of 17-20 km/l.
2025 Honda Jazz: Cabin
The 2025 Honda Fit is designed to offer a very spacious cabin, featuring multi-functional steering wheels, an electronic parking brake with auto hold, and a camera-based driving assistance system that includes a level 2 ADAS. This system supports various features such as lane departure warnings, collision assistance, active cruise control, and more.
The car has a 5-seater layout with a blackout cabin design and an 8-inch digital instrument cluster, which comes with standard Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity. Additionally, it features a semi-digital driver display. For safety, this hatchback is equipped with multiple airbags, parking sensors, a rearview camera, and more.
2025 Honda Jazz: Price and Availability
The price of the 2025 Honda Fit will be announced at the time of its launch. It is expected that the company plans to introduce this hatchback with a starting price of 73,800 yuan (approximately Rs 6.96 lakh), going up to 112,800 yuan (around Rs 10.62 lakh). The launch is anticipated to take place in the upcoming months.
Will It Come To India?
As for whether it will come to India, that’s the key question many are asking. The company halted the production of the Jazz hatchback in 2020 due to new emission norms, and there hasn’t been any recent information about the Fit making its way to the Indian market.
Currently, Honda does not have any vehicles in this segment in its Indian portfolio. However, if the company decides to update its engine to comply with Indian regulations, there is a possibility that this hatchback could be launched in India again.
