Honda Motor Company is planning to launch its all-new 2026 Honda CB1000 GT for the global market. The features of this upcoming model have been leaked ahead of its official launch.
The spotted prototype of the new Honda CB1000 GT has been based on the CB1000 platform, and Australian media is referring to it as the CB1000 GT. This model is expected to make its debut at EICMA 2025, which is scheduled for next month.

Design of the 2026 Honda CB1000 GT
The upcoming 2026 Honda CB1000 GT features a design based on the previous CB1000 platform. This new bike is closely related to the Honda CB1000 Hornet but comes with an upgraded suspension system.
It is equipped with an LED lighting setup, a muscular front fascia, daytime running lights (DRLs), and attractive golden accents on the exhaust. Additionally, the bike sports black alloy wheels, LED taillights, split-style seats, and a distinctive sub-frame design.
To enhance rider comfort, the CB1000 GT includes a tall windscreen to reduce wind blast. Other features include a blacked-out engine bay and rear subframe panels, chunky rear grab rails, knuckle guards, and four exposed exhaust headers that run below the engine.

Powertrain of the 2026 Honda CB1000 GT
The 2026 Honda CB1000 GT is powered by a 1000cc inline 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine, the same as the CB1000 Hornet.
This engine produces a maximum power output of 157 horsepower and generates peak torque of 107 Nm. It is paired with a 6-speed gearbox for smooth transmission.
Additional features include a slipper clutch, a bi-directional quick-shifter, cruise control, and traction control, all of which enhance the riding experience.
Features of the 2026 Honda CB1000 GT
The CB1000 GT will come equipped with dual-channel ABS and dual disc brakes at both the front and rear for enhanced stability and safety.
For the suspension setup, the bike features inverted front forks and a rear monoshock unit. This configuration is designed to provide a comfortable ride both in the city and on the highways.

2026 Honda CB1000 GT: Price and Availability
The price and availability of the 2026 Honda CB1000 GT will be announced during its launch. Reports indicate that the company may introduce this bike with a starting price ranging from Rs 13.94 lakh to Rs 14.34 lakh (ex-showroom).
It is expected to compete with the Kawasaki Versys 1100, BMW S 1000 XR, and Suzuki GSX-S1000GX.
