Kawasaki has officially unveiled the 2026 Kawasaki Versys 650, and while the mechanicals remain unchanged, the bike gets fresh new colours that breathe new life into this middleweight adventure-tourer.
This bike is known for its comfort, versatility, reliability and will continues to be a top choice for long-distance touring and daily riding alike.
Though the updates are cosmetic, the 2026 model keeps its adventurous spirit intact. With new colour schemes and signature ADV design, Kawasaki aims to keep its popular twin-cylinder tourer relevant in a fiercely competitive segment.
Sporty Design and Fresh Colours For 2026 Kawasaki Versys 650
The 2026 Kawasaki Versys 650 retains its familiar and rugged ADV styling with an upright stance, sharp twin-LED headlamps, and a tall adjustable windscreen.
For 2026, Kawasaki introduces two new colour options – Metallic Matte Dark Gray with Metallic Spark Black and Metallic Flat Spark Black with Metallic Moondust Gray.
These updated liveries add a modern, aggressive touch while keeping the sporty identity of the Versys alive. The semi-faired bodywork, handguards, and tall touring ergonomics continue to offer both form and function.

Engine & Performance: Proven Parallel-Twin Power
Powering the 2026 Versys 650 is the same 649cc liquid-cooled parallel-twin engine, delivering 66 PS at 8,500 rpm and 61 Nm of torque at 7,000 rpm. This DOHC unit is paired with a smooth 6-speed gearbox, offering linear power delivery and refined highway cruising.
The performance remains unchanged from the outgoing model, which is no surprise since the engine is already known for its versatility, tractability, and proven durability—ideal for both city rides and long hauls.
Features: Built for Comfort and Utility
The Versys 650 remains feature-rich with a TFT instrument cluster, Bluetooth smartphone connectivity, dual-channel ABS, and KTRC (Kawasaki Traction Control) with two modes.
Riders also get a tall adjustable windscreen, wide handlebars, and a comfortable split seat setup.
The long-travel Showa front forks, rear mono-shock, and 17-inch alloy wheels ensure the bike can handle mild off-road conditions with confidence, though it leans more towards road-biased touring.
