India’s largest car company, Maruti Suzuki, is planning to launch its all-new 2026 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga. Now, this MPV will get bigger in length.
Reports indicate that its length will go from 4.39 meters to 4.43 meters, but its wheelbase, height, and width remain unchanged. Let us tell you that the Tour M version of the Ertiga already comes with larger dimensions, and now Maruti will introduce this in its standard model as well.
Currently, every carmaker is offering their CNG cars with more boot space by adding dual CNG tanks in their cars, except Maruti. Maruti has no boot space-saving solution for its CNG models. So, if the Ertiga gets bigger dimensions, it will lead to an increase in its boot space.
Expected Features of the 2026 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga
Apart from the dimensions, the design and other features of the upcoming 2026 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will remain similar to its current generation model. It will come equipped with a revised front grille with chrome accents, refreshed alloy wheels for the top variants, a new tail-lamp signature, and updated bumpers.
It continues to be powered by Maruti’s reliable 1.5L K15C DualJet petrol engine with Smart Hybrid tech, delivering overall power of 103 PS and peak torque of 136.8 Nm.
For transmission, this engine has been mated with options of a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic with paddle shifters. There’s also a CNG variant available for budget-conscious buyers.
Talking about the mileage, the Petrol MT version gives a mileage of 20.51 km/l, the Petrol AT gives 20.30 km/l, and the CNG version gives 26.11 km/kg.

The cabin of the upcoming 2026 Maruti Suzuki Ertiga will also be similar to its current models. It will get a 7-inch SmartPlay Pro infotainment touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay & Android Auto, a 4.2-inch TFT driver display for trip and fuel data, roof-mounted AC vents for the 2nd and 3rd row, reclining second-row seats, and split-folding 3rd row for flexible boot space. Rear parking camera, push-button start, and automatic climate control will be available on higher variants.
It is unlikely that the company will change its price, but we are expecting that the bigger Ertiga may be a little bit costlier than the current generation model. Currently, the price of the base model of this car starts at Rs 9.12 lakh, and its top-end ZXi+ variant is available at Rs 11.29 lakh (manual) and Rs 12.59 lakh (automatic).
