2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100 Launched in India at Rs 13.89 Lakh

Kawasaki India launched the 2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100 at a starting price of Rs 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom). This new motorcycle replaces the older Versys 1000 in India. It brings a bigger engine, updated electronics, and better highway comfort.

Kawasaki built this bike specifically for long-distance touring riders. The bike offers an upright seating position and a smooth four-cylinder engine.

2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100: Engine, Power and Performance

2027 Kawasaki Versys 1100 gets a bigger inline-four cylinder engine. Kawasaki increased the engine stroke to expand capacity from 1,043cc to 1,099cc. This new engine produces 135 PS of power and 112 Nm of torque.

It gives more power than the older model. The engine connects to a 6-speed gearbox with a quickshifter. The quickshifter shifts gears smoothly from 1,500 RPM. Revised gearing helps the bike cruise easily on open highways.

Hardware, Electronics and Features

The bike uses a 43mm inverted front fork and a rear gas-charged shock absorber. Dual 310mm front discs and a 250mm rear disc bring the bike to a complete stop. It also includes dual-channel ABS for safe braking.

Kawasaki added traction control, electronic cruise control, and multiple riding modes. The bike features a color TFT display with Bluetooth connectivity. Riders can connect their phones using the Rideology app. The bike also gets a USB-C charging port, an adjustable windscreen, and full LED lights.

Kawasaki sells the 2027 Versys 1100 at Rs 13.89 lakh (ex-showroom). The company brings this motorcycle to India as a full import (CBU). The new model costs slightly more than the older bike because it offers better hardware.

This bike competes directly with the Ducati Multistrada V2, BMW F 900 XR, and Triumph Tiger 900 GT. It stands out in the market with its smooth four-cylinder power delivery.
