Mercedes-Benz has revealed the new 2027 Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and it focuses heavily on comfort and smart technology. The biggest highlight is a new AI-based suspension system that can detect potholes and rough roads before the car reaches them.
This allows the car to adjust itself in advance, making the ride much smoother for passengers. Mercedes says this technology will make long drives more comfortable, even on poor roads.
The luxury sedan also gets updated engines, a smarter infotainment system, and several new comfort features. The car is expected to go on sale globally from 2026.

2027 Mercedes-Benz S-Class: AI Suspension That Reduces Road Bumps
The 2027 S-Class uses cameras and sensors to scan the road ahead. If the system detects a pothole or bump, it automatically adjusts the suspension to reduce the impact. Mercedes also uses cloud data shared by other cars, so the system becomes smarter over time and helps improve ride quality for all S-Class owners.
Mercedes-Benz will offer the new S-Class with different engine choices:
S500 with a turbo petrol engine
S580 with a powerful V8 engine
S580e plug-in hybrid that combines petrol and electric power
These options give buyers a mix of performance, smooth driving, and better fuel efficiency.
