Two-wheeler company Ather Energy has finally launched its new 2025 Ather 450S in the Indian market. This updated model will now features more powerful 3.7 kWh battery pack and will be available at the starting price of Rs 1.45 lakh ex-showroom.
Previously, this scooters only available in the 2.9 kWh battery pack and the 3.7 kWh battery pack option was only available with the Ather 450X model. Now, company is bringing this powertrain option in this entry level 450S model.

No Change in the Design of 2025 Ather 450S
In terms of design the Ather 450S with 3.7 kWh battery pack will remains same as the other 450 range with same dimension and LED lighting setup. It will be equipped with same high-quality design materials and fits.
Apart from this the scooter will also features same TFT instrument cluster that supports Bluetooth mobile connectivity. It will also supports turn-by-turn navigation, and automatic brightness supports.
Powertrain
The updated Ather 450s is now equipped with 3.7kWh battery pack with the same 5.4kW motor that delivers 22Nm of torque. Talking about the performance it can achieve speed of 0-40km/h in just 3.9 seconds. This scooter has a top speed of 90 km/h.
It also has four driving modes i.e Smart Eco, Eco, Ride, and Sport. You can charge this scooter at home from 0-80 percent in 4.5 hours.
Apart from this scooter has inverted front forks and spring coil system at the rear end. Its safety features include AutoHold, Fall Safe, Emergency Stop Signal, and Alexa integration. Also, its OTA updates will keep your scooter up to date with every company’s updates.
In Indian market this scooter will compete with OLA S1, TVS iQube and Bajaj Chetak.
