Ola S1 Air deliveries begin in India, know how many units have been booked

India’s largest two-wheeler manufacturer Ola Electric has commenced the deliveries of its new Ola S1 Air scooter in the country.
As per the company’s reports this scooter has started reaching customers across more than 100 cities. Let us tell you that the scooter has received more than 50,000 bookings since its bookings opened.
The two-wheeler comes in 6 colors – Coral Glam, Neo Mint, Porcelain White, Jet Black, Stellar Blue and Liquid Silver.

Ola S1 Air: looks and features

The design of the Ola S1 Air is similar to the S1 pro model of the company. To reduce the cost, it has made some changes compared to the S1 Pro. It is design on Gen2 platform of the company. Suspension duties of the scooter are handled by telescopic forks at the front and shock absorbers at the rear, while braking duties are handled by drum brakes at both the ends.

It also gets LED DRLs, headlamps, front apron, body panels and rear taillight with a lower resolution 7-inch touchscreen.

Ola S1 Air is powered by a 2.5KWh lithium-ion battery pack, which takes 4-5 hours to charge. It is capable of providing 125 km range on a single charge.
The company claims that it can accelerate from 0 to 40 km in just 3.3 seconds and it has a top speed of 90 km/h.
The electric scooter offers 3 riding modes – Eco, Sport and Reverse. The price of the scooter is around 1.20 lakh (ex-showroom).
