Triumph Speed 400: Know all about the newly launched bike

The recently launched bike Triumph Speed 400 is the talk of the automobile industry. The new bike has come up to be a tough competitor for Harley Davidson X440 in terms of price, performance, and other specifications. The newly launched bike was announced to be available at Rs 2.23 lakhs for the first 10, 000 customers and the price will be increased by Rs 10,000 after that.

Due to the attractive offer with amazing features of the bike, the company has confirmed that the booking for motorcycle has already crossed the 10,000 mark. Triumph Speed 400 is to be manufactured in India in collaboration with Bajaj Auto Ltd. Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director, Bajaj Auto Ltd, said: “We are excited by the overwhelming response we have received following the launch. A pre-order of 10,000 bikes within such a short span is unprecedented and a testament to the unwavering faith that riders have placed in Bajaj Auto and Triumph Motorcycles. Engine and Transmission

The Speed 400 brings Triumph’s unmistakable stripped back custom style, agile handling, responsive performance, and category-defining build quality to a new class of rider. The Triumph Speed 400 is powered by 398.15 cc with liquid cooled 4 valve single cylinder. It has a fuel tank capacity of 13 liters.

Design of Triumph Speed 400

The bike has a Hybrid spine, tubular steel, bolt-on rear subframe with modern LED lighting. It does not have smartphone connectivity; however, it provides a USB-C port for charging electronic devices mounted on the handlebar. The motorcycle is mounted on a 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels.

Price

The Triumph Speed 400 is priced at Rs 2,33,000(ex-showroom). Also, Triumph will offer the bike at Rs 2,23,000 (introductory) for the first 10,000 customers.
