Hyundai Motor Company is planning to launch its all new Hyundai Ioniq 2 and now company has just dropped first look of this electric hatchback. As per the reports, this car will debut at IAA Mobility Show in Munich on Spetember 9, 2025 and it will be launched in India next year.

This electric hatchback will comes with sporty vibe with full-width LED lights, bold wheel arches, and rear ducktail spoiler.

As per the company’s teaser image the Hyundai Ioniq 2 is expected to showcase a sleek and modern design inspired by Hyundai’s latest EV lineup. It will features sharp LED headlamps with integrated DRLs, giving it a futuristic identity.

Apart from this upcoming Ioniq-2 comes equipped with multi-spoke alloy wheels are likely to enhance its sporty stance, while wraparound LED taillamps with a connected light bar will add a premium touch at the rear.

Dimension-wise, it is expected to be a compact urban-friendly EV hatchback measuring under 4-meter.

The Hyundai Ioniq 2 is likely to be equipped with a compact yet efficient battery pack, expected to range between 35 kWh and 45 kWh capacity, optimised for urban and suburban driving needs. Paired with this, a single electric motor positioned at the front axle.

It could deliver a driving range of around 350–430 km on a single charge, while the hatchback’s top speed is expected to be around 150 km/h.

Hyundai Ioniq 2: Cabin and Safety Features

The Hyundai Ioniq 2 is expected to feature a modern, minimalist cabin highlighted by a wide digital panel that merges the 10.25-inch infotainment screen with the 10.25-inch driver’s display for a seamless look.

The layout will likely be clean and user-friendly, with premium materials adding to its appeal.

On the safety front, the hatchback is anticipated to come equipped with advanced systems such as lane-keep assist, autonomous emergency braking, blind-spot detection, and adaptive cruise control, ensuring both convenience and maximum protection for occupants.

Hyundai Ioniq 2: Price and Availability

The price and availability of the Hyundai Ioniq 2 will be announced at the time of its launch. Reports suggest that it will be launch next year at starting price of Rs 25 lakh ex-showroom. In India it will compete with Mahimdra XUV400, Hyundai Creta EV and MG ZS EV.
