Japanese bike manufacturer Kawasaki has been working on updating its entire portfolio in preparation for the launch of their 2026 models.

The company has recently introduced the 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S, which features some new updates.

The latest model comes with a new paint option, Graphite Gray with Metallic Spark Black, which is distinct and unique compared to the MY25 and MY24 models. Aside from the new color options, the design and powertrain of the Vulcan S remain unchanged.

Features of 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S

The 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S is constructed on the same high-tensile steel frame as its predecessor. It features oval-style LED headlights, a wide handlebar, a rectangular air filter for the engine, an under-belly exhaust system, split-style seats, and LED taillights.

The bike also comes equipped with rectangular side mirrors, a semi-digital TFT display, and a USB charging port.

In terms of dimensions, the Vulcan S measures 2,310mm in length, 855mm in width, and 1,090mm in height, with a wheelbase of approximately 1,575mm and a manageable seat height of 705mm. The bike weighs around 229kg.

This cruiser is powered by a 649cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine that generates a maximum power of 60hp and a peak torque of 62.4Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox for smooth transmission.

Regarding suspension, the Vulcan S is equipped with a 41mm telescopic fork at the front and a single-shock unit at the rear. For braking, it features dual pistons that grip a 300mm single disc at the front and a 250mm single disc at the rear.

The price and availability of the 2026 Kawasaki Vulcan S will be announced at the time of its launch. It is anticipated that the company plans to introduce this bike at a starting price of Rs 7.20 lakh (ex-showroom). In India, the Vulcan S will compete with the Royal Enfield Meteor 650 and the Honda Rebel 500.
